Think Yourself Lucky by Ramsey Campbell

David Botham’s relatively normal life is turned upside down the moment he attends a writing group. A book title he comes up with in the spur of the moment seems to be already in use in the form of an online blog – one that depicts cruel murders throughout the city. Mind reeling, David recognises the victims – people he’s come into contact with – and so is appalled to discover their actual fate. Nothing adds up though, because he’s not the one writing the posts, or is he?

The Toy Thief by D.W. Gillespie

When a toy mysteriously vanishes from their household, its very abduction caught on camera, Jack just can’t believe her eyes. Plucked away by a long, skeletal hand, she does the only thing a nine-year-old can do when a monster makes itself known – she tries to gain more proof of its very existence. Her hunt doesn’t go as planned however, and with her brother now involved, events are escalating quickly. Andy is changing, becoming something less than himself, and Jack can only watch him slip away.
